    Wainer, Howard; Robinson, Daniel H; Howard Wainer is a statistician and author, and a former principal research scientist at the Educational Testing Service. He is the author of the books Truth or Truthiness: Distinguishing Fact from Fiction by Learning to Think Like a Data Scientist (Cambridge, 2016), A History of Data Visualization and Graphic Communication (Harvard, 2021) and the forthcoming Testing and the Paradoxes of Fairness (Cambridge, 2025); Daniel H. Robinson is the K-16 Mind, Brain, and Education Endowed Chair in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology in 1993 from the University of Nebraska and is editor of Monographs in the Psychology of Education: Child Behavior, Cognition, Development, and Learning, Springer Publishing; (Significance : statistics making sense, v.22, 2024, pp.38-40)
